What to Expect on GT Cup Italia Shootout Day: A Detailed Overview

At Road Course Academy, our GT Cup Italia Shootout offers an exciting and rigorous test of driving and fitness skills through a rotating schedule. Here's what your day will look like:

8:00 AM – Driver Briefing

The day kicks off with a thorough driver briefing, setting expectations, safety protocols, and a chance to clarify the schedule. After the briefing, the sessions begin.

Rotating Sessions – On-Track, Data Analysis & Fitness

Throughout the day, drivers rotate through three key activities:

• On-Track Sessions: You’ll be evaluated on driving performance—cornering, braking, speed, and racecraft.

• Data Analysis: Once you’ve finished on the track, you’ll meet with our engineers for in-depth analysis of your performance, using telemetry data to identify areas for improvement and help you enhance your driving.

• Fitness Evaluations: When not on the track or analyzing data, you’ll participate in fitness assessments. This ensures you’re physically prepared for the rigors of motorsport, evaluating strength, endurance, and overall fitness.

The sessions are repeated throughout the day, allowing you to alternate between driving, feedback sessions, and fitness evaluations.

12:00 PM – Lunch Break

A one-hour lunch break at noon gives everyone time to recharge and discuss the morning’s activities with fellow participants.

Afternoon Rotations

After lunch, the rotations continue. You’ll return to the track to apply feedback from the earlier data analysis and complete your fitness evaluation. This ensures every driver gets ample time for improvement and learning.

5:00 PM – End of the Day

The shootout concludes at 5:00 PM. By the end of the day, you’ll have gained a wealth of insights into your racing abilities, fitness levels, and the technical aspects of motorsport.
